Happy 2024!! I welcome you and thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit more about me!
This is the year of the 'WOOD DRAGON!' The Dragon often symbolizes Power, Endless Energy, Vitality, Idealism, & Romanticism. Dragon is also known for being a fearless leader & very goal-oriented! With the keenest sense of SELF, this year Dragon will help us to own up to our power, take on the tasks at hand, dream BIGGER, and BLAZE THE TRAIL!! But we cannot forget that Wood holds the meaning of progress, growth, & expansion! So GET READY to sit in your power and own your personal success & growth!! As we all embrace & dive into this new beginning, I will also be mindful to maintain Rabbit's sense of ease & flexibility from last year. Here's to channeling this winning combo and making room for our inner & outer FEARLESS LEADER this year!
I also remain inspired by 4 words that crossed my path in a significantly fantastic way several years ago; INTEGRITY - IMPECCABILITY - INTROSPECTION - TRANSFORMATION! I consider these the 4 pillars of my foundation, for who I am and who I am striving every day to be. This year the Rabbit reminds me of an old motto of mine - TAKE THE PLUNGE! I am ready and I am not afraid to get wet!
Due to covid my production company - 3 LITTLE RASCALS PRODUCTIONS - has, again, had to postpone our Los Angeles Premiere of the Pulitzer Prize Nominated play - THE GOD GAME. We are now hoping for an opening in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024. Please visit 3littlerascalsproductions.org for UPDATES, DETAILS, & WAYS TO SUPPORT!
DEAR ALBERT, the film I wrapped at the end of 2021, is already gaining traction with multiple wins in the film festival circuit! Director & writer Armin Amiri is a force & it was an honor to be a part of this project! It is a beautifully stylized short where I got to play alongside some of my favorite actors!! We are currently in post-production and it will hopefully be hitting your screens in just under a year, FINGERS CROSSED! Keep your eyes PEELED!
And for all you #Fitzy&Kate Fans, Season 2 of Black Girl In A Big Dress is NOW STREAMING on YouTube & Facebook & THE TRIBE NETWORK!! If you have some catching up to do head HERE to binge Season 1! I can't say much but what I can say is Lord Fitzhugh & Lady Kate REUNITE and it is NOT TO BE MISSED! It was a HUGE honor to be nominated for a webby award & TOES CROSSED we get picked up...come on NETFLIX!
I am also writing a children's book series inspired by my mother as a little girl & I cannot WAIT to share it with the world. Book #1 is in the process of being illustrated by the incomparable Bob Dombrowski and I have already started writing book #2 so...STAY TUNED!
As you can see things are moving right along and I will have more updates for you VERY soon! Make sure to browse below to catch up on anything you may have missed. Happy New Year, let's make this one OURS!

2015's motto is GO BIG OR GO HOME! Previously they've been JUST SHOW UP & TAKE THE PLUNGE, but this year I find myself even more inspired to take BIG risks...and, if I fall on my face I learn from it and move onto the next!!! So here's to this fresh new year, may we ALL be inspired to GO BIG!!!
In case you missed it this past holiday season... check me out on the cover of 'Jingle Bell Bride,' the romance novel cover I shot last year!

The past three and a half years have been quite a roller coaster and the reason why you have not heard much from me is because on April 18, 2011 my mother suddenly passed away from lung cancer. It all happened within 8 days and we had no signs or clues to help soften the blow. Since then my life has been turned upside down as you can imagine. In spite of this horrible loss I will say that my mother continues to be with me every day and she has actually been quite present in my life, which I hope only strengthens as time goes by!
Since my mother's passing I have created a foundation called The Wishing Kids Foundation (TWKF), to help raise money for families and individuals fighting Cancer and terminal illness. Paying it forward is the best way I knew how to cope with such a loss!
Please visit www.thewishingkidsfoundation.org or peruse my Wishing Kids page above to learn more about this wonderful cause and how you can help!
As it always tends to happen, out of tragedy comes opportunity just when you least expect it! Even though my voice had "stopped working" and I was putting all of my attention into starting a non for profit from the ground up, including organizing an inaugural benefit and raising money for my cause, opportunity knocked. Just when I thought I had nothing to over creatively, or otherwise, I was gifted the chance to play Princeton in Avenue Q out in Santa Barbara, CA, a town I am very familiar with! Quite a full circle moment for me, since I was originally called back 7 times for Avenue Q on Broadway... but who's counting? I finally got to play him and IT WAS A BLAST! Check out my photos above!
Also, speaking of the inaugural benefit for TWKF, 'In Full Bloom' at Birdland was a HUGE SUCCESS and a great jumping off point! Again, be sure to check out www.thewishingkidsfoundation.org for more details!
The Wishing Kids Foundation is proud to announce that we have partnered with The Episcopal Actors' Guild and have donated $10,000!! A HUGE thank you to Joseph Mesiano & Karen A. Lehman for making this possible! This money will provide help & support to many more individuals and families fighting terminal illness and thanks to The Episcopal Actors' Guild, my Mother's legacy grows even stronger!
Thanks for stopping in and showing your love and support!!!
Truly,
Ryan
